We’re launching the new version of the Katalon Certification Program on Mar 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM ICT (Indochina Time, GMT+7)
Why?
Today’s landscape is changing fast. The new certifications are designed to:
Better reflect evolving test automation practices and user feedback
Provide you with more ways to acquire and certify your skills
Here are the key updates of each certification:
Practitioner: It will remain the same.
AI practitioner: You will be able to certify your skills in using AI agents through new requirements
Professional: You will be able to choose from different paths to complete, based on your interests
Expert: It will be placed under maintenance and reintroduced soon
What should you do?
If you’re currently working toward a certification, you can:
Complete it under the current version before March 31, or
Wait and get the new certifications
What about your previously earned certifications?
They will remain fully valid.
You can also choose to pursue the new certifications if they help you build new skills.

For action items, users can either:
Finish the certs they’re close to achieving or
Wait for the new version to launch and get the new ones (the majority of requirements in this current version will stay in the new version)
The Expert cert will be relaunched in the future, as it requires more work.

I had scored and completed 3 Certificates for Katalon 1.Practitioner 2.Professional and 3.Expert Now there is AI Practitioner, Does it mean there are 4 or we will go with 3 as listed above

We put Expert under maintenance. So there will be three certifications for a while. There will be four or more in the future.

My AI cert progress hasn’t updated in weeks. Have just one category left and would like to complete it before the new version. what should I do?

I have achieved Practitioner and AI Practitioner certification. Professional certification is remaining to complete View test suite execution reports: 45/50. I am viewing different reports but At Katalon certification page is not getting updated why?

You can message me on the requirement you said.
The current product data should be able to be carried over to the requirements in the new version of certs. Then you will need to fill the new gap to get the new cert.
