Today we are releasing the August 2, 2023 update of the Katalon Platform, which brings with it the following enhancements…
1. Organize
Katalon Cloud storage: In this release, we have introduced a single opt-in default bucket for all new projects. This default bucket is designed to enhance your experience by providing a seamless and convenient way for you to publish, manage, execute, and report tests directly on the Katalon Platform. We believe that this improvement will streamline your testing process and make project management on the Katalon Platform even more intuitive and efficient.
2. Execute
- We recorded a higher number of test runs that are triggered automatically from Scheduler of expired trial TestCloud users as well as new users who are instructed to create Scheduler by default without any real demand. This, in turn, would lead to errors in our TestOps’s database and negatively impact TestCloud resources. Hence, the Repeat toggle within the Schedule Test Run dialog in TestOps is now turned off by default.
- To avoid causing confusion regarding our Limited offering of Mobile Native App testing feature, the alert message that pops up when you re-run the test with said feature has been revised slightly.
- If you run out of TestCloud quota, you can now go directly to Subscription Manager in the Admin page and buy TestCloud license there.
- TestCloud will now automatically download the latest version of Local Engine.
