I found that the latest and greatest v11.0.0 implements the Log Viewer with white background even if the Dark theme is selected. Good joke.

what I meant is the color contrast
in Dark Mode, the background is dark but the font color is also black, so the text is hard to read
ideally, Dark Mode should use a lighter font color for better readability
Then you didn’t mean your post to concern about the whiteness of the Log Viewer in v11.0.0, right?
yes, i was actually adding a new issue (probably)
the original discussion is about the Log Viewer background and i wanted to point out a different problem in the feature (Gherkin) file:
the text color remains black in Dark Mode, even though the background is also dark
seems like we have wait (one or more) more release to get this fixed. as mentioned by @nghi.phan
I suppose you should create a new topic on your own.
I am afraid that Katalon is not keen on the Dark theme support of Katalon Studio. I think, they would not mind the font color very much unless demanded more strongly.

We plan on retheming light and dark mode and using a new rendering library so this issue won’t happen in the future. It’s in the works.
It’s planned for March with a fair amount of safety to make sure it’s all tested and working. Same UX, but pretty icons/colors/WCAG compliant, etc.
