Over the past six months, I have noticed that when I have Katalon Recorder active as a Chrome Extension, I cannot load posts from reddit.com and my billing sites from verizon.com and spectrum.com. The sites will open in a new tab and then kick the processor up into high speed and never load the page. If I disable the Chrome Extension, they load without issue. I have done a one-by-one extension check and the issue only exists when the Katalon Recorder extension is active in Chrome. Anyone have any ideas?

I’ve also been encountering this issue for several months now (and it has caused me a lot of frustration, too), but had not yet taken the time to audit each extension one by one (…I have many), but having just tested only disabling KAR today, I confirmed that this issue is ‘resolved’ by disabling Katalon Recorder.

No error log because it doesn’t happen when I’m running a script. I think that Google Earth (web version) also now has a difficulty.
I’ve tried to trace down an error log when this happened to me (as I was hoping to identify the culprit), but there wasn’t any apparent console log entries to point to when this has happened (at least not that Chrome surfaces before ‘hanging’ the tab).
I’m using (the latest) Chrome, Version 114.0.5735.198 (Official Build) (x86_64) (on macOS) + KAR Build 5.9.0 as well.
Another site I can immediately recall it happens on is Currys.co.uk (it may load the homepage, but the moment you try to click on anything, it hangs).

Hi im update chrome, and is working done 
I am still experiencing the same problem… and I have updated Chrome. There is no resolution.
I’ve also updated Chrome, and can still reproduce the issue.
