Steps to reproduce
Add a variable on the “Variables” tab but don’t save the testcase.
Navigate to a different tab like “Manual”
Navigate back to the tab “Variables”
Your just made variable is removed.
If you try to do the same for testcases this issue does not occur.
If you only edit an existing variable and switch tabs, your edit is gone but the variable is still there.
