Wanting to improve the Katalon Platform by weeding out bugs and defects? Then you are in the right place!

How you can contribute
Whenever you spot a bug or defect while using the Katalon Platform, simply:

  1. Create a topic in Bugs Report or any other designated category with a detail report of the bug(s) itself.
  2. Tag the Katalon Team @team in the topic so that we can review it.
  3. Get rewarded after the bug(s) is acknowledged and verified by a member of our Product team. See below for details :point_down:.

What are the criteria to join?
There are no hard criteria to become a Bugs Catcher, though ideally, you should have some solid experience in using the Katalon Platform beforehand.

:gift: What is in it for you? :gift:
Aside from a shout-out from our team in our quarterly Community Summary topics, you would also get:

  • An extra 50 Kudos when your Bug Report has 3 votes, or if the Bug Report is verified and acknowledged by a member of our Product team.

As a Docs Watcher, you will be instrumental in helping to improve our documentation, and in turn, improve the experiences of thousands of Katalon Platform users.

How you can contribute
Whenever you spot an error in one of our documentation, or see information that may be out of date, simply:

  • Create a topic in Documentation and follow the instruction provided in the composer.
  • Tag the Katalon team @team into the topic so that we could review it.
  • Get rewarded after a member of our Technical Writing team has acknowledged your suggestions. See below for details :point_down:
