Hi im trying to use Windows Recorder to emulate the process of sending an email in outlook. However i cant seem to record the window that pops up after i hit the new email button in the main window. Even when i try the switch to window button it just starts recording the main window. Any idea on how to record the window pop up from the main window?

May be you could try Switch to Window Title and adding the title of the new window.
This would depend on the language of outlook, but for example in english it is:
Untitled - Message (HTML)
That seems to work for me on Katalon 9.0
