Unable to lauch Katalon studio

I am using katalon 5.4.1 to do a POC for a project. After downloading the zip file, when I click on the katalon.exe file. The application is not displaying the splash screen.

I am getting the following error in the log file:

You should extract this .zip file first before launching Katalon Studio. Please make sure you do that correctly.

I have the same problem. Version 64 - 5.4 works, but version 6+ don’t work.
