When I try to record a Web run using Chrome browser, I am getting this error. Any help is appreciated.
The messages indicate that the version of ChomeDriver you used is not in sync with your Chrome browser.
Which version of Katalon Studio you are using?
Which version of Chrome browser?
Which version of ChromeDriver?
I think it is worth trying upgrading Chrome browser and ChromeDriver to the latest ones.
The following tells you how to upgrade the drivers if you use the KS7.0 or newer.
Katalon Studio Version: 6.1.2
Chrome: Version 78.0.3904.108 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Chrome Driver: Not sure how to find the chrome Driver.
Same issue with IE as well. I am using Internet Explorer (Microsoft Edge).

I know this is the latest Chrome version.
As you are aware of, this is NOT the latest. Certainly the Chrome Driver bundled in KS 6.1.2 is too old to work with the latest Chrome browser. I am sure, you need to update the Chrome Driver.
