Project says unable to close still closes

Katalon Studio Version 6.3.0 Beta (Still occured with 6.2.0)

Katalon Studio logs C:\Katalon\Katalon_Studio_Windows_64-6.3.0\config.metadata.log

Steps to reproduce

  1. Inside your current project, exit katalon

  2. Upon closing, alert shows warning: “Unable to close current project”

  3. Reopen Katalon and notice the project is in fact closed

I am facing the same issue for a long time as well, no clue what might be causing it though

I’m experiencing the same issue in 6.3.3 when opening a project that was made with an earlier version, I get “Unable to close current project” when exiting Katalon Studio. Checking or unchecking the “auto restore on next session” option doesn’t make a difference.
Starting Katalon again gives me an empty project, I need to open the project again manually.

Resurrecting this topic since I have the same issue. There are plenty of threads about being unable to open projects, but not about being unable to properly close (and automatically reopen) them.

I’ve also begun running into this on v7 today.
