Need direct answers: Executing Katalon tests in CD/CI pipeline

So I’m confused at the way Katalon licenses work. Please reply as TL;DR answers as possible for each question –

(*Yes, I already have the Katalon Azure integration installed in Azure)

A) Do I need to purchase some sort of license in order to execute Katalon tests in an Azure deployment pipeline? (I thought katalon was free to use and only offered paid plans for those wanting direct Katalon customer support)
B) What is Online validation vs Offline validation and why does it need to check for it when running in Azure.
C) I generated a command in katalon studio and it’s using my api-key in the command, does this key expire? (I’m trying to implement Katalon into our CD/CI pipeline but first I need to know what it’ll cost me, if anything.)

A. If you want to execute Katalon Studio in Azure, you need to use Katalon for Azure DevOps plugin and subscribe to Katalon Runtime Engine DevOps license. This license model is applied to the cloud or virtual machines with dynamic hardware specifications.

So you’re saying the only way to make use of Katalon on any CD/CI pipeline is to pay at least $979.00 per year? We’re still trying to confirm whether Katalon fully solves the automation solution needs we have. I don’t want to pay $979 only to find out that Katalon ultimately doesn’t meet our needs.
