When new version of Katalon Studio will release on which run scripts with active browser session will available.

Katalon Studio currently supports Active Browser Mode for Record and Spy Web Utility. The reason test scripts cannot be executed on Active Browsers because it doesn’t have the required driver for Katalon Studio to control to perform automation tests. When executing test scripts with the selected new browser, Katalon Studio will launch a new browser based on Open Browser Keyword and execute the test scripts.
