Can you please help reinstall KS with the latest version and see if it still happens?

KS 9.7.2 is the latest version, I don’t see any newer version after 9.7.2

Can you please help share the error log from Help → Error Log and other details like your OS and steps to reproduce it so that we can help investigate it? Have you logged in KS before?

OS: Linux Red Hat 8

Steps to reproduce this error:

  • Open the Katalon app, then a window pops up for login (you can’t pass through that window until you login)
  • Click on the Log in Browser option
    Result: Katalon Crashes
    Expected Result: It should direct the user to the log in page in the browser.

@dineshh that’s all the errors shown in the log, I can’t click on the Help option because Katalon crashes in the Log in step. Please see the steps to reproduce this bug(?).

Which JDK have you installed into your Linux?

According to the doc, it tells you to

Install OpenJDK 8 (NOT Oracle JDK).

  • Katalon Studio for Linux currently supports OpenJDK 8 only.
