Hi there,

Thank you very much for your topic. Please note that it may take a little while before a member of our community or from Katalon team responds to you.

Thanks!

Hi Daniel,

Welcome to our forum, and thank you for sharing your issue with us.

I am going to loop in my colleagues @Elly_Tran and @xuan.tran so they can take a closer look.

In the meantime, please feel free to provide us with other information which you believe can help i.e. screenshot, video recording, etc.

Thanks,
Albert

Hello,

Maybe this helps to provide more information:

(Katalon Studio Free:10792): Gdk-CRITICAL **: 10:05:23.000: gdk_window_create_gl_context: assertion ‘GDK_IS_WINDOW (window)’ failed

I’ve looked for this error and it seems to be related to querying a GDK object that hasn’t yet been instantiated (?) I didn’t see this assertion failure message in the error log file I shared, so I’m including it here.

Thank you

Hi @daniel.capecci,

Thank you for letting us know your issue. Can you have some screenshots or recordings to show us your issue? Have you tried with other kinds of network? And have you logged in KS successfully before?

Hello,

Yes, I have logged into KS successfully before, but on Windows. I have tried both ethernet and WIFI on Linux. It has worked before while connected to ethernet but has also crashed while connected to ethernet. In the attached video, I’m connected to WIFI. The login window flashing seems to be an artifact of screen recording and is not present when not recording the screen. After login the application simply crashes. When entering the wrong credentials, I get the error saying “wrong password” and the application doesn’t crash, so it seems to only happen on successful login attempts.

Thank you,
Daniel
