Can anyone help me with which requirements for the Katalon Professional certification are blocked in the free version?

Generate test artifacts using StudioAssist: 0/10
Run cross-browser test execution in Katalon Studio with TestCloud environments: 0/1
Run test execution in Katalon Studio with Katalon TestCloud Tunnel: 0/1

According to Katalon’s official community response, the following Professional‑level requirements require KSE (Enterprise) or TestCloud, so those cannot be completed with the Free edition:

1. Create 10 custom keyword files

Although creating custom keywords is supported in the Free version, the certification requirement explicitly counts them only when using KSE.

2. Create 10 test scripts using StudioAssist (AI)

StudioAssist (AI) is Enterprise-only, so this requirement cannot be completed on free KS.

3. Run 3 test executions via Command Line (CLI)

CLI execution requires Katalon Runtime Engine, which is a paid license.

4. Run 10 test executions with Debug Mode

Debug Mode is Enterprise-only.

5. Approve 5 Self-Healing proposals for locator replacement

Self‑Healing is Enterprise‑only, so these approvals cannot be done in the Free version.

6. Run 1 cross‑browser test execution using TestCloud

Katalon TestCloud is a separate paid product → not available in the Free edition.

7. Run 1 test execution using Katalon TestCloud Tunnel

Again, TestCloud (and its Tunnel) is paid‑only.

Everything else in your checklist is allowed in the Free version, such as:

  • Running 150 test executions

  • Running test suite executions
