*Summary
Getting “Authentication Failed” error after trying to login when logged out from Katalon Studio.

*Steps to reproduce

This bug only reproducible when you get automatically logged out of Katalon Studio.

  1. Acknowledge the logout

  2. Perform Login from Browser

  3. Select correct Account and click Continue

  4. “Authentication Failed” error is displayed. And now we are stuck at this screen forever.


5. Exit the application and launch Katalon Studio again. Now user is logged in correctly.

*Expected Results

User should not see the Authentication Failed error and get logged in properly.

*Actual Results

Getting “Authentication Failed” error after trying to login when logged out from Katalon Studio.

Could you please provide the error log? You can get it by access to menu Help > Error Log

I have restarted the Katalon Studio so the earlier log got cleared.

  • Could you provide the exact OS version, and verify if you just upgrade their windows or the policy? Also, I’ll need the log files recorded just before bak_0.log.

  • And, please connect with the Admin team to check the machine ID is currently stored for your license seat.
