As Vy Huynh recently mentioned in the other Katalon Recorder-related thread, version 7.0.1 will be released next week which should bring a slew of bug fixes and other enhancements:

Hi @lschollar , thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We are going to release version 7.0.1 which address the issues of Jquery and returnPrompt function in the beginning of next week. Regarding the performance issues, please be assured that we are actively investigating them. We appreciate your patience and will keep you updated on our progress. Thank you

Should you still encounter similar issues after upgrading to the newest version, please go ahead and make a new topic in Katalon Recorder or Bugs Report.
