I have not been able to run the Katalon Mobile testing -test sample (Android) successfully.

Katalon version 6.1.0, build 1
Android device: Nexus 7 Tablet, hooked direct using USB, Android ver.9
Appium v1.12.1

Please downgrade to appium v1.8.1 then run again.
