As 10.1.0 not showing desktop option for test automation: Is okay or not, to develop automation tests using 9.7.4. Will Katalon support further for desktop apps test automation.
please uninstall and install gain , there must be some problems while downloading the latest version
According to the Katalon release notes, windows testing is unavailable in versions 10.x.
It would not help to uninstall and install it again…

According to the documentation, it is not available due to the incompatibilities of Selenium 4 and the WinAppDriver. (They said they are working on it, but that is not a guarantee.)
9.7.x version is okay to be used, they said in the FAQ section they will support it until 2025 July with critical fixes and security updates.
