Today, we are thrilled to announce the release of Katalon Recorder version 6.0 with:

  • Effortless Sign-Up and Login via Google and GitHub SSO: Enjoy the convenience of automatic cloud backups for your test results when you sign up or log in, alongside:

    • Ask and receive support from other Katalon users on the Katalon Community forum.
    • Gain job-ready automation skills with the Katalon Certifications program.

And that is not all. We are currently implementing back-end upgrades and will provide you with ongoing support on our forum in the Recorder category.

:bulb: What’s next for Katalon Recorder?

We are actively identifying any existing issues with Katalon Recorder and planning for future enhancements. One of them is the implementation of Manifest V3!

With this release, we are also introducing two distinct versions of Katalon Studio:

  • Katalon Studio (Free): Perfect for beginners and small teams. Get started with core features for creating, running, and reporting tests.

  • Katalon Studio Enterprise (KSE): Designed for teams in need of advanced capabilities and AI-powered features such as StudioAssist, AI-powered API Test Generator, and more exciting AI features to come. With a KSE license, you will also have access to our technical support team.

Having two versions of Studio allows us to cater to a broader audience, ensuring that whether you are just starting out with automation testing or needing advanced features with premium support, there is a Katalon Studio version just for you.
