Today we’re releasing Katalon Recorder version 5.8.3 with a number of new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Download it here: Chrome | Microsoft Edge | Firefox

New features

We’ve introduced new functionality where:

  • Katalon Recorder pops up when there’s a pause upon error during test execution
  • Katalon Recorder pops up after an execution using toggle breakpoint

Enhancements

  • Improved test execution using CLI

Bug fixes

  • We fixed an issue where Undo/Redo functions did not work properly

  • We fixed an issue where Shift + Key Up/Down did not work properly

  • We fixed an issue where users could not see the newly created test case after recording process

  • We fixed an issue where feedback window did not close after users submitted their feedbacks

  • We fixed an issue where clicking outside of “Add new tag” box did not work properly

  • We fixed an issue where Onboarding Tour steps were misplaced when being replayed
