Verify Data in downloaded file

Can katalon verify data inside the file that downloaded from web application because right now my process was input something to web application and web application will return an excel file to me for download but i need to verify data in downloaded file.

Is anyway possible to verify data, use manual step by human to verify or use any automation tools to check data ?

Yeah i think you can, create a keyword and try to follow the steps on this page, you need to import jxl.jar first : http://www.seleniumeasy.com/jxl-tutorials/how-to-read-excel-file-using-java

I will try thanks for your suggestion

You can do any sort of document validation you want, you just need to find and import an external library that suits your needs. The Java Excel API (jxl) that was suggested will work fine, so long as you’re testing .xls files (files generated from Excel 2007 and earlier), and not .xlsx files. As an alternative, I would suggest using the very robust Apache POI libs here:

https://poi.apache.org/

They can handle both excel file types as well as many other documents.

The following post of mine shows how I created/updated/saved an Excel file within Katalon Studio using Apache POI. This would give you a starting-point of manipulating Excel in Katalon:

How to download Excel file from your Web site? — it depends how the Web site’ UI is designed. Automating downloading files from UI usually requires configuring browsers Desired Capabilities properly. This is a sort of black magic. See the following post for example:
