I have followed steps to execute test script using command line mode however its not getting executed. I even tried to execute it using Katalon_Studio_Engine.
Previously, a month back I used to get result via command line execution. Currently, I am not getting any result.
Steps -
- Open Katalon Studio
- Go to Build CMD (Generate Command for Console Mode)
- Select Test Suite to be executed. Use default browser Chrome and default Profile.
- Katalon API key will be automatically available
- Generate Command
- Open cmd and give path where katalon.exe, katalonc.exe are available

Once I hit above command in cmd then it opens Katalon Studio; opens some tests which are not relevant to specified testsuite. Execution does not proceed:

To run a project in the command line, you need a lincense of Katalon Runtime Engine. Do you have it?
I am using trail version. I don’t have license of Katalon Runtime Engine. My organization cannot provide license.
Is there any alternative because last month I executed test cases using cmd without Katalon Runtime Engine. It worked. This time, I am not getting result.
Without KRE, you cannot run your tests through CLI or anything related to cicd
Possibly you are new to Katalon. When a new commer starts touching their products, Katalon will allow him/her one month trial license of both of Katalon Studio and Katalon Runtime Engine. Therefore you could use Katalon Runtime Engine previously.
Now that your trial has expired, you need to purchase a KRE license to continue. I hope you could convince your boss. If you are going to purchase KRE, I think, Katalon will require you to purchace an Enterprise license of Katalon Studio together, which is not free. If you can’t afford any payable license, then you still can use the Katalon Studio Free, which is a GUI app. You have to give up using Katalon in the command line.
==> Last month I used my corporate email for certification. This time I am using my personal email for certification. So I should have got the same offer for my personal email address as well right.
This is actually blocking me to fulfill my KRA.
Is there any other solution?
I don’t know anymore about the licensing issue. Please consult to Katalon people.

Only business domain email is needed, so you won’t get KRe licence this time.
regardless the email you use, each new email is considered as a new sign up which allows you 30 days trial with KSE and KRE.

Great! Then, why I can’t I use KRE with my personal email id now.
Could you please go through screens shots attached and let me know if I am missing anything.

Only business domain emails are accepted, I doubt you will get a kre license.
You must supply a business domain email to be able to get another free license for 30 days.
