Test execution clicks element and opens blank new window

Hi everyone,

I am new to Katalon, but not new to automation. During test execution, an element is clicked and a new blank page opens in parallel to the click-event, which blocks all steps post click since the new window is blocking all the elements. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
