First time posting so I will try to do this right… also for context I am a newbie with test automation in Katalon.
Using Chrome (latest) / windows 7 with Katalon Studio 5.8.6.
Description:
During use of web recorder I want to manually add new test items (e.g. Add>web UI keyword > Set Text) and point this at a new object.
After I add the item line in the list of recorded actions the object shows as null. Double clicking displays a list of captured objects. I want to add a new object to this list (for example one identified using xpath), so that I can point the step at the new object and configure its input.
Is this possible whilst recording, or are there other steps I must do, such as stopping / starting the recording?
