Katalon recorder usage

Hello,

I have been using KSE for around 1 year and have never used the recorder.

I usually look for the xpath manually save it in the OR and then create my tests.

Just wanna know if this is a good practice or the recorder does something which will make my life easier.

Any thoughts will be welcomed.
