Whenever i try to record a new testcase and the page has a textfield of some sort the recorder only records the first character i enter.
I can of course manually adapt it afterwards but for things like passwords its really not that quick.
I tested it and it happens with chrome and firefox

The easiest way is as youve said, just change it manually or add an excel and add multiple.

So really no workarround?
This is especially bad with passwords and really reduces the usabillity when recording.
Since we are evaluating to switch and also some not so technically adept users should be able to record things, this is really a big point for us
But as i said, an excel variable will help you better to use multiple passwords and its really easy to set.
