When I tried to record on katalon for on of my colleague, the browser was opening but clicks and other functions were not recorded why so? can you please help me

yes same problem in current version 8.6.10

v8.6.10 is too old. The latest version is 10.3.1.
You should check the release notes since v8.6.10 up to the latest.
There you will find a lot of mentions about the “[Web Recorder and Spy]”.

Have you tried in the latest version? kindly share the error logs too
