Katalon pause test suite collection execution !!!

Hello Dears,

I am experiencing instability with the Test Suite Collection feature. Specifically, the Test Suite Collection stops progressing and fails to complete other tests. This issue arises when the Test Suite Collection requires additional resources such as time, devices, and test cases.

Details:

  • Number of Test Cases: 26
  • Number of Test Suites: 5
  • Number of Devices: 1

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create a Test Suite Collection with the specified test cases and test suites.
  2. Execute the Test Suite Collection on a single device.
  3. Observe that the Test Suite Collection stops progressing and does not complete all tests.

Expected Behavior: The Test Suite Collection should execute all test cases and test suites without interruption.

Actual Behavior: The Test Suite Collection halts and fails to complete the remaining tests.

I appreciate the Katalon team’s attention to this issue and recommend removing or fixing unstable features to enhance the user experience.

Did you run the TSC in sequential or parallel mode? Can you provide the log for better investigation?
