hey im facing the same error my katalon version is 8.6.5, i tried appium version 2. but get error “failed to start appium server in 30 seconds” and when downgrade to version 1.15 get error “org.openqa.selenium.SessionNotCreatedException: Unable to create a new remote session. Original error: Connection reset

@deutchman777 You will need to downgrade appium to version 1.22.X or something below appium 2.0 to get it to work. You are also able to use remote execution if you wish to use appium 2.0 or the alpha version https://docs.katalon.com/docs/proof-of-concept/execute-mobile-tests-with-appium-2.x-in-katalon-studio-poc
