Failure to start - can't find JVM

Hi,

I’ve got a fresh install of Ubuntu 19.04 and I’m trying to run Katalon Studio. I use SDKMAN to manage my JDK, which is currently set to Java 8, but it seems Katalon Studio can’t find it. I’ve attached relevant photos to show my environment and the error message.

Thanks!

I do not know how KS for Ubuntu is configured. On Windows and Mac, Katalon Studio uses the JRE bundled within its distributable archives. KS does not rely on Java installed by SDKMAN at all.

In the dialog you attached, your KS expects /home/alex/program/Katalon_Studio_Linux_64-6.3.2/jre/bin/java to be there, but found it is not there. Why you do not have it?

java_home is wrong. use the system provided packages instead of crap managing tools, unless you know very well what is under the hood
