Error trying to open Katalon Studio

Saludos a todos,

I have gotten the following error message when trying to open the Katalon Studio application, it happens that it has happened to me a couple of times that I close the app and restart my machine, and when I turn it on and try to open Katalon it shows me that alert:

When I enter the root path: “C:\Users\xxx\Documents\Katalon\Katalon_Studio_Windows_64-9.0.0\config.metadata.log” me muestra la siguiente imagen:

Hi,

Please try deleting the .metadata folder from the path in the error log.
Note: .metadata is a hidden folder so you need to click on View menu > Show hidden items to delete it.

If it does not work, can you try:

  • Launch KS with Administrator mode
  • Move the entire Katalon_Studio_Windows_64-9.0.0 package to another disk such as D: drive and re-launch the application
