Hello community i hope you guy are doing great? my team are new to katalon studio and we just got the licence for our team. but i when i try to run the test from command line, i am getting the message

There is no Katalon Runtime Engine license available, cannot execute test suite(s):

Test Suites/SampleTest - Firefox
Cannot execute this test suite collection. There is no Katalon Runtime Engine license available.
Start clean up session
End clean up session
All launchers terminated
but we have the licence
second question it can run test from the remote destop without install katalon studio on it ? we only install the KRE on it
if yes please how can connect the katalon studio on our local machine to the remote destop to run the test from command line ( present i have to install both on the Remote destop but i guess we dont want that. please any help will be great we new to katalon studio and KRE

There are two type of license for Katalon (KSE & KRE), if you have only KSE license then you can not execute your scripts using Katalon Runtime Engine.
Can you show us the available license at Testops license management to help you
Katalon Studio and Katalon Runtime Engine are separated tools that use your user account information to authenticate through Katalon services to validate user licenses.
So, there is no need to install both KSE and KRE in the machine to execute Katalon’s scripts.
For example: You can create tests on your local PC using KSE and then use another PC (remote) that uses that project and run it on KRE.
Regarding to your error on KRE: “Cannot execute this test suite collection. There is no Katalon Runtime Engine license available.”
It seems your user has no KRE license associated. I recommend you to double-check your console command and see if your user contains the Katalon API key value.
Also, you can log in into Katalon TestOps platform (or ask your katalon admin) to see if your user has the KRE assigned or not.
