Thanks. This helped. I almost put a post in here about my problem. This was the solution. Do you think that this setting should be the default?

This option greatly affects the performance of Katalon. If you turn off the option, Katalon does not work.

Thats the error i get… I have checked Automatic update Webdriver to be on but still does not work. i have version 6.2.1

Hi I also faced same issue with chrome browser version and after I checked the check box of automatically update web Driver from preference web ui tab the issue got resolved thanks team for the solution post.

Hi all, I had same issue, and I “fixed” it installing new version of katalon studio (6.3.X)… But now, all my test cases fails because katalon doesn’t find the web elements recorded… All my work to the trash…? and trying to re-record test cases still doesn’t work… I don’t know what should I do

Add the command line option to have the web drivers update to the Console Mode Execution documentation found here: https://docs.katalon.com/katalon-studio/docs/console-mode-execution.html#windows-only-options
I needed this option but couldn’t find it.

my katalon version is 6.3.2, there is no Tools tab in GUI, for it can be see, do I need to downgrade my katalon?

Please update to v6.3.3 or later to get the Tools on Katalon Studio menu bar
