I have had this happen a few times and it is usually just before KS is about to “hang”. After I get the flaky display, I usually have to use Task Manager to kill the KS session and then restart. What I have done is to add the display at the bottom of KS that shows the Garbage Collector (a Java/Groovy concept) and allows you to clear up some of the old “garbage” objects and gives me a bit more time or to restart KS cleanly.
