Why does the smart wait not working although it is enabled?

Hi,

I am still getting a timeout message when loading page although the smart wait was enabled? Could anybody explain it to me?

I am using Katalon Studio 8.0.5 version

Possibly the version of browser and WebDriver is not in synch.
You should update the WebDriver. See

I updated chrome driver by tools -> Update Webdrivers -> Chrome. It’s successful but it always runs update again when I do above steps and ‘Timed out receiving message from renderer’ message display if I run test case

Which version of Chrome browser do you use?

Is it the latest one? (I believe 91.0.4472.114 is the latest).

KS always updated version 91.0.4472.101 and my browser is using 91.0.4472.124

and why does KS update the same version (91.0.4472.114) whenever I click Tools -> Update Webdrivers -> Chrome?

Still I have a doubt about the versions of your Chrome browser and ChromeDriver. But I have no clue.

Just for investigation purpose, would you run your test with FireFox? Does it run?

You might have 2 Chrome browser installed on your PC. In my case, yes, I had ever. I was confused at lot by them.

I only one Chrome browser on Windows. How can I upload the video to my post?
