I am experiencing a bothersome request from the Chrome browser every time I execute my test case.
The browser asks me every time opens to choose the default browser, preventing me from seeing my test execution. I don’t know why this is happening because I have already set the default browser from project settings!
Who can help me understand why this is happening and if I can solve this problem.

the setting in project settings is which browser katalon launches, it has nothing to do with the popup. the popup is chrome itself: katalon starts chrome with a fresh temporary profile every run, and a fresh profile asks “make chrome your default browser” every time.
tell chrome not to ask. Project > Settings > Desired Capabilities > Web UI > Chrome, add:
name: args type: List value: ["--no-default-browser-check", "--no-first-run"]
save, run again, the prompt is gone. same two flags work for edge under the Edge Chromium section.
