Katalon Studio 11.2 is out. Xuan Tran (PM, Studio) walks through what’s new in our product, including AI Failure Analysis, which tells you why a test failed instead of making you read the logs.

In this episode:
00:25 ▸ Multiple AI Chats — parallel AI conversations in Studio
00:42 ▸ AI Failure Analysis — root cause for every failed test
01:01 ▸ Smarter Self-Healing — locator updates with screenshots
01:21 ▸ True Platform results in Studio — cross-environment view in one place

Plus honourable mentions.

Good initiative with video content

Thanks for the share!!

  1. Maintaining the history of the chats in the AI assist was badly needed. Thanks for this

My personal view is that self-healing is often overemphasized in automation tools. In projects where locators are designed carefully using stable and unique attributes placeholder and mroe, I prefer to disable self-healing. The reason is that it can increase execution time and may sometimes hide underlying application changes. If a locator breaks due to a genuine UI change, I would rather let the test fail, investigate the root cause, and update the locator explicitly. This keeps the automation suite transparent and maintainable.

This is good but needs improvement

Nice one, it is good
