Test Suite Collection, unwanted change of Profile when Run with is changed

I found a small problem in the Test Suite Collection definition panel.

I had this:
Before

I had a record with “Run with” = Firefox. I wanted to modify this to Chrome. So I did it.

After

I noticed that the “Profile” of that record was silently changed from HP_Product_cat0_10sec to default. I did not intended this change to happen. I had to restore it manually. I do not want KS to change Profile when I changed Run with.

This bug has annoyed me often. I use Test Suite Collections a lot. Sometimes my Test Suite Collections suddenly changed behavior and I got confused. In the end, I found the reason: the Profile settings were silently changed to default by Katalon Studio.

I checked this with

  • macOS Catalina 10.15.6
  • Katalon Studio ver 7.7.0

I am afraid that the problem still remains, not fixed yet. I guess that you fixed it for Windows but forgot for Mac, don’t you?
