Question on BDD & Test Scripts

Hello, so I have entered the world of BDD Testing and trying to get to grips on how it works within Katalon Studio. I have watched this well made video: How to create BDD Cucumber tests in Katalon Studio - YouTube and have gotten a simple BDD script writen, and a matching Test Case.

My question is can I link the two, as the video is hard coding the test script by copying and pasting elements into the Script. I would rather the script reads from the Test Case so then we just need to manage it in a single location.

Could we implement step definition in the Test Cases and not in Include/scripts please ?
