Not able to run Katalon add-on in firefox 52.5.0 (64-bits) on debian jessie 8.9

The recorder in the Katalon add-on in firefox 52.5.0 (64-bits) on debian jessie 8.9 is not doing anything. No recordings made. Is Katalon not working in above described environment? Or are there any additonal acquirements, apart from installing the add-on, for Katalon to function?

You are talking about Automation Recorder in this case, am I correct? Or you just want to talk about recorder when you start directly from Katalon Studio?
