Load data file from a relative path

Hello,

In our Katalon project we have Excel files imported as data files. In the configuration of the data file there is the path of the Excel file. We want to change the path and make it relative to the path of the project. It’s possible? How? May be we need to use the option ‘Use relative path’ in the configuration of the data file. How does this option work?

Hi,

Yes, have your spreadsheet (or other test file) in the root directory of your project. Click the ‘Use Relative Path’ option and the project will pick up that data file. You should be able to click on it to have it loaded and see its contents.
