Even the method which katalon use or follow to give certification to any user needs to be tighten up.
There should be small test or mcq based screening on the practical knowledge of test automation. Right now it is very easy to become Katalon certified.

Even if a new joinee who has never even touched katalon, pulls the code( created by someone else) from repo in his account, within 2-3 days that new joinee will get certificate from katalon academy, even without touching a single feature of katalon.

Its my personal view

To clarify, most of the certification requirements are user-action based. Importing tests, for example, doesn’t count toward their progress. Users need to actually execute tests to accumulate test executions.

There should not be a case where a user can get certified without touching a single feature in Katalon applications.

No, I had sent an email to katalon team, and after that the task was updated
