We’ve been thinking for a while about how to properly recognise the people who do the work in this community. Not the loudest voices.
Today we’re launching the True Builder Series — an ongoing program in the Katalon Community to recognise those people publicly. And we’re launching it by naming the first group: the people who joined the True Platform beta and shaped what shipped.
What is a True Builder?
Someone in the Katalon community who’s done at least two of the following:
- Shipped something real on True Platform — a workflow, a framework, an integration, a migration
- Contributed feedback during beta that actually shaped what shipped
We’re deliberately not including “thought leadership” or social media presence in the criteria. This program is about people doing the work, not people talking about the work.
The founding True Builders
The True Platform beta ran over the past 3 months with a small, hand-picked group of community members. They tested, broke, rebuilt, pushed back, and gave us feedback that genuinely changed what shipped. Every person below is now a recognised True Builder, with the badge on their Community profile and standing access to the private Builders channel.

What happens next
Starting in two weeks, we’ll publish bi-weekly True Builder Spotlights — longer features on individual Builders, going deeper on what they built and the lessons they took away. The first wave of Spotlights will come from the cohort above. After that, we’ll start drawing Builders from the wider community.
True Builders receive:
- The True Builder badge on their Community profile
- A physical kit
- Access to a private Builders channel with other Builders and the Katalon product team
- Early roadmap previews and beta access for future releases
How to become a True Builder
The beta is one path in. It isn’t the only one. If you’re already contributing to this community — in the forum, on a workflow you’ve built, in feedback you’ve sent us — or if you know someone who is, drop your name on this thread!
We’ll review nominations monthly. Self-nominations are explicitly welcome — a lot of the strongest contributors are the least likely to put themselves forward. If that’s you, please don’t make us guess.
