If I want to use CLI to trigger tests, I need to bug KRE but I don’t know which studio plan should I buy? Free, Professional or Enterprise? My team is just start building automaiton, I think 2 node machine and one account for studio is enough. If Professional plan support KRE?

For triggering Katalon tests from the command line or a CI/CD pipeline, you’ll need a Katalon Runtime Engine (KRE) license. KRE is the execution add-on and is purchased separately from the Katalon Studio authoring plan.
For a team just starting automation, one paid Studio seat for the person creating and maintaining tests plus one KRE floating license is usually a good starting point. One KRE license allows one active execution at a time and can be shared across machines/users. So if your two machines run tests sequentially, one KRE license is enough. If they need to run tests at the same time, you’ll need two KRE licenses.
Professional/Paid Studio supports authoring the tests, but please make sure your quote explicitly includes KRE for CLI execution. Free Studio alone does not enable CLI/CI execution.

Thank you Bella. So If I buy one Professional Plan and two KRE licenses that I can trigger Katalon tests from the command line or a CI/CD pipeline with parallel execution? How about Free stuido with two KRE licenses?
Katalon studio comes free only for 30 days in the trial period.
N parallel sessions = N KRE licenses
