How to test an application on a remote desktop server (Microsoft) with Katalon Studio?

I am a newbie with automated testing.
I would like to test an application sitting on a remote desktop server (Microsoft). However I cannot install any software on it.
Is it possible to run Katalon on a local PC, create a script starting with remote desktop server , then run the remote app and test it remotely?
