Hello All,
I’m new in Katalon Studio, I am trying to do POC for Window based desktop application. When i tried to record by giving the application path, i am getting the below error. Can anyone help me to resolve this issue?

Does your app have splash screen. If yes, you can download WinAppDriver v1.2: https://github.com/microsoft/WinAppDriver/releases/tag/v1.2-RC and add this desired capabilities:
"ms:waitForAppLaunch": "25"
If no, you should add the application title in the Application Title field and start again.
An alternative way is using Native Windows Recorder. It will let you record actions much easier.

As you suggested, I downloaded WinAppDriver v1.2 & Appium-1.18.1 (Is there any specific location i need to paste this folder? - Currently i pasted in “Katalon_Studio_Windows_64-7.6.2\configuration\resources” ) and change the desired capabilities in Projects > Settings > Windows > Desired Capabilities, screenshot given below:
But I am getting the below exception now:
Also, I am not able to use the below as suggested (Native Windows Recorder), since i am using the Trail Version.
