By the way, I would call these 2 view formats of Log Viewer as “Tree view” and “Table view” (or Log view).

I would warn you that the Tree view slows down your tests significantly. You should prefer the Table view with the selection button labelled “All” toggled off.

I posted this 3 years ago using Katalon Studio v8.2.0. Concerning the Log viewer, nothing has changed in v10.x.

I believe, you will be surprised to see the following figure. A single Test Case took over 5 minutes to finish as the slowest case; and just 25 seconds as the fastest case. This difference is due to the presence and setting of the Log viewer.

Many Katalon users would expect that the Log viewer performs fly-weight; has no impact to the test performance. No; that isn’t correct. The Log viewer (especially the Tree view) is so heavy that it can slow donw your tests.
