Cannot run record web

Dear guys, i cannot launch the web recorder with this error pop up

i tried with other chrome driver or even change the chrome browser version but still same. anyone could help? thanks

Hi - can you please let us know which version of katalon you are using currently

Also, has this always been the case or only occured after an update of some kind or something along those lines?

Katalon 6.0.6 (Latest version)

Chrome driver 73.0.3683.68

Chrome browser 73.0.3683.75

Previously with old version i can launch the web recorder but now the problem came back. and i also tried this solution Link but it’s not working.

When you say old version - do you mean 6.0.5?

i forgot the exact version but it’s around 5.8.x

may i know your details as well ?

Strange - im using 6.0.6 with 72.0.3626.121 and chrome driver version 72.0.3626.69 so im a bit out of date but there should be no reason your does not work. Im sure one of the devs will see this thread and be able to help you out. Sorry i cant advise you any further.

  1. Kill all running chromedriver
killall -9 chromedriver
  1. Please try this solution:

Make sure there is:

127.0.0.1       localhost

in the /etc/hosts file
