Summary Katalon Studio Enterprise (10.3.2) crashes completely on macOS ARM-64 (M-chip) when handling WebKit/HTML interface components, confirmed by EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGABRT) in WebCore.
Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Katalon Studio Enterprise 10.3.2 on macOS 15.6.1 (ARM-64).

  2. Open a medium/large-sized Project.

  3. Navigate/Interact with the KeyWords.groovy file

  4. The application suddenly stops working and generates a Crash Report.

Expected Results Katalon Studio runs stably and does not crash when interacting within the application.
Actual Results The Katalon Studio Enterprise application (pid: 60643) crashes immediately (Abort trap: 6), the error occurs in the main thread while processing WebKit/JVM.

I wonder if I encountered this error in the latest version of Katalon Studio - 10.4.2?

@xuan.tran Our bank is currently using version 10.3.2 and is blocked from updating, so I haven’t been able to try the new version yet.

This issue is related to WebKit and according to the discussion here https://github.com/eclipse-platform/eclipse.platform.swt/issues/1978, Apple has fixed it in the latest macOS 26.1. Let’s upgrade macOS and try again.

In case you haven’t upgraded macOS to a newer version, you can refer to this workaround:
Preferences -> Java -> Editor -> Hovers -> Untick Combined Hover
